Our first order of business was celebrating a wedding with some good friends from college. Kristin did a fine job as a bridesmaid and I had an excellent run in my new suit:
We had a great time visiting family, and were very happy to get together with the siblin's for a trip down the St. Croix.
... And when we arrived back in Waco, we found an extra visitor a few days into home revival:
How often do you get to say you were 'pleasantly' surprised to find someone else in the shower with you? Honestly, with out my glasses on, I could only see a brownish blur under the soap dish, so I was very concerned I might have found one of those Texas sized bugs. Luckily, it was just this little baby gecko using our shower as a sauna.
Anywho, we are back to our old Texas selves again (aka hot & sweaty) but K's getting some good work done in the lab, and I've had a bunch of new folks to train at the ED. So our summer will be busy if nothing else. I think Kristin is hoping for the new school year to come soon more for the fall weather than the classes.
And we will post more this summer! just have to find good things to post about ;)
